Newbattle G.C. Winter program 2020-2021

General Winter Work

• All winter greens to be identified, marked as GUR, prepared.
• Core greens and top dress
• Cut back long rough.
• Verti-drain fairways, tee’s and approaches
• Scarify tees and fairways.
• Aerate, overseed and top dress approaches.
• Course aeration with “earthquake” machine
• Greens aeration throughout the winter.

Proposed Winter Project Work

1. Drainage work at 3^rd and 13^th holes.
2. Trim overhanging branches off the 17^th tee.
3. Build new ladies tee at 13^th hole.
